I think that I've been fighting this off for a month, but this morning I woke up feeling like a bus hit me. It seems that most of the band is also sick, so it must be going around.
I hope that I can be well enough to do turkey day. I don't want another of those elf-infested ones. Last night, though, I convinced myself that there were entities afoot. I wanted to get out of bed and investigate, but I was too afraid. The cat was unfazed, so I tried to not worry about entities and eventually went back to sleep.

one terrible evening the week before thanksgiving i was holed up in the barn burning with a fever the likes of which i had never before and have never since suffered. i remember a light burning softly and hazily recall weeping with joy as "angels" danced above me. praise be that my future wife was there to wipe the sweat off of my shivering, burning brow. i am not surprised that there may be "entities" afoot (or aflight) in the barn.
